NCLS Hedge School and Winter Membership Meeting

The Hedge School requires admission of $10 for League members, $15 non-members

  • 10:40AM-11:40AM: Mike Tuggle, "Seceding From the Empire."



  • 11:55AM-1:00PM: Forum: “Illegal Immigration in NC” with facilitators. This forum will address the impact of illegal immigration on North Carolina to include increased crime, resistance to assimilation, low-wage undocumented workers taking jobs from citizens and the growing threat to our way of life as these aliens become registered voters. Be sure to attend this important event and voice you opinion.

  • 3:00PM-3:45PM: Vice Chairman's Report, Mitch Flinchum

  • 4:30PM-5:00PM: Open Forum & Discussion.

The NCLS will draw attendee names for 2 three-book bundles to be won. The drawing will be held before the Open Forum segment of the meeting. All books are valuable volumes pertaining to Southern Independence and accurate history. Don’t miss this meeting!

Directions:
The K&W Cafeteria is located at 2629 Ramada Road in Burlington, just off Interstate 40/85 at exit 143. At end of ramp, turn north into town, then left at the first traffic light which is Ramada Road. The K&W is in the shopping center on your right and the banquet room is in the rear of the Main Dining Room.
